How to Use a Personal Blender

A personal sized blender can be a great addition to any kitchen. Whether you are rushing through breakfast or trying to make a quick snack, a personal blender is a must have in the kitchen.

These smaller size blenders can have as much power as their bigger brothers. They make it easier to have a nutritious beverage even when you are on the go. You can even make your favorite cold beverage. Margaritas anyone?

A personal blender has the ability to allow you to personalize your recipes. You can perfect your mixology skills and control your portions.

Not only can you make great tasting smoothies, shakes and cold drinks, you can also make salsa, salad dressing and baby formula.

For a quick morning smoothie all you need is your personal sized blender, a banana, some frozen fruit (blueberries, strawberries, peaches, mango or cherries), spinach or kale (got to get those vitamins), some kind of fat such as peanut butter or almond butter. You can make it even healthier with a scoop of protein powder. Add some water and you have a great tasting and nutritious smoothie.  Breakfast on the run!

You can also make a great snack such as hummus. Add a can of chickpeas (drained), some lemon juice, garlic, tahini or peanut butter, ground cumin and a little water into the blender. And then just blend. Cut up some carrots and celery and you have a great snack.
